Just like a movie sequel or a 2nd edition car, Jabra releases a sequel to their headset Stone. The Stone2 sees major improvements and upgrades to make it the best headset yet. The Stone is available now for $129.99 retail.
The great thing about the Stone 2 is that it doesn’t look like every other Bluetooth headset on the market. The sleek curved design is modern and much more stylish that your average headset. The design is the same as the original. It looks like curved hook that when connected to the charger looks like a stone. It comes with 4 ear gels that offer more comfort for each ear. The Stone 2 offers two styles; one is the leather and the other glossy. The glossy finish is available from AT&T stores, while the leather version is from Verizon.
The headset has all of your function you require such as answering, ending call, rejecting calls, redial, voice command, and the ability to connect to devices at once. The headset also allows you to hear music or hear turn by turn directions. The voice controls and voice guidance are new features that are only available to premium headsets. The headset also supports third party voice apps from Vlingo, Dial2Do, and Voice Assist.
I tested the headset with several phones and found that the call quality was good for both receiving and calling out. The headset also blocks out most of the background noise using Jabra’s Noise Blackout technology. I tried the headset in loud environment like at a supermarket and at the mall and it did a good job of keeping out outside noise.
I have tested dozens and dozens of Bluetooth Headsets and this one is clear and away the best headset I’ve ever owned. The Jabra Stone2 is good looking headset with some nice features. If you want a headset that truly standout from the rest in terms of feature and design then take a look at the Jabra Stone2.
