XP based Asus EEE laptop coming April 9th


Not to be confused with the upcoming 8.9" second generation EEE. On April 9th the old 7 inch Asus EEE laptop will sell with Windows XP for the first time at a cost of $400.

Samsung Haptic phone released


Samsung is showing off their new TouchWiz UI on their new phone AnyCall Haptic SCH-W420. This phone will have the haptic feedback or vibration when you touch the touchscreen. The SCH-W420 will be released in Korea with a price tag of about $700-$800 USD.

Claire Strodtbeck over at the-gadgeteer reviews the Zune flash 8GB player. And comes to this conclusion:

Overall, this second generation of Microsoft's digital audio player is a noble and worthy effort. It's a great device, and I would actually recommend it as a viable alternative to the Apple iPod line.
